And the winner is…

And the winner is...

So my wife and I sat down last night absolutely determined to find our little girl a stroller. This, however, was not an easy task. They literally make 7,528 different strollers…and those are just the ones for girls.

*Bonus tip for dads: Most strollers for girls are ridiculously ugly. I mean really, how many different floral patterns are there? Ugh.*

After hours of searching–which was preceded by months of research that basically got thrown out the window when we realized the best ones are the price of a used Volvo–we finally found a winner. Now I’m not a fan of Disney princess stuff, nor is my wife, so when we found this Alice in Wonderland themed set we were all over it. It cute without being so girly that I’d be embarrassed to be seen with it, it got good reviews and it’s relatively unique–which is always a plus.

Also, I’m absolutely certain the day after my return window closes the company will release a Princess Leia version, because that’s just how the world works.

May the force be with you.

I’m glad I’m not the only one lost in the strollersphere!
The national differences amuse me too. In New Zealand we had only about 50 to chose from and even then my brain almost melted, especially when confronted with the price tag! Also if you asked the average Kiwi what “theme” they wanted you’d get a completely blank look. Mind you this is a country where it’s acceptable to wear your polar fleece and shorts to a fancy restaurant!
